PdfScanner respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the PdfScanner mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

PdfScanner is designed to work primarily offline and does not require account registration.

a) Camera Access

  • The app uses your device’s camera only to scan documents.
  • Camera data is processed locally on your device.
  • We do not store, upload, or transmit camera images to any server.

b) Storage Access

  • Storage permission is used only to save PDF files locally on your device.
  • Saved files remain under your control and can be deleted anytime.

c) Advertising Data

  • PdfScanner displays ads using Google AdMob.
  • AdMob may collect anonymous device identifiers (such as Advertising ID) to show relevant ads.
  • We do not personally identify users and do not access ad data directly.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected permissions and data only to:

  • Scan documents
  • Edit and create PDF files
  • Save PDFs locally on your device
  • Display advertisements to support app development

We do not:

  • Sell your data
  • Share personal data with third parties
  • Upload your documents to the cloud

3. Data Storage & Security

  • All scanned documents and PDFs are stored locally on your device.
  • PdfScanner does not maintain any backend server.
  • We do not collect or store personal information.

4. Third-Party Services

PdfScanner uses the following third-party service:

  • Google AdMob (for advertisements)

These services may collect information as governed by their own privacy policies.

5. Children’s Privacy

PdfScanner does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
If you believe that a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

6. User Rights

You can:

  • Control app permissions via device settings
  • Delete scanned files and PDFs anytime
  • Reset advertising preferences from device settings
